In an effort to shield customers from losses and other inconveniences, the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has imposed sanctions on vendors of quasi and counterfeit equipment. The commission issued a warning to Nigerians against using and patronizing such devices when it was arresting leaders of three companies in Kano State. According to the agency, these devices are primarily responsible for the poor service experiences.
